The early Robert Bloch story in this issue of Weird Tales is “The Shambler from the Stars” (the one in which he kills a scholarly author of weird fiction from Providence, RI) which directly inspired Lovecraft to kill Robert Blake in “The Haunter of the Dark”. You may also know another author in the issue (Frank Owen) under his much more exciting pseudonym “Hung Long Tom”.
